The Tuesday Currents
I’m currently…
not feeling so great after breaking several days of good sleep today for various meetings/activities, and not eating great. Folks like to say that the night shift is hard; for me, it’s not. I love it so much. It’s having to do things with the rest of the world during the day that’s difficult!
reading All The Things. Writing them, too! Hoping to have my next book finished by the end of the month.
watching Miracle Workers with Indy
blehing this daytime weather. The nights have been lovely. When it’s over 80 my feet often act up and don’t let me sleep well.
planning Wood Sprite’s 18th (!!) birthday
journaling my way to self-compassion and forgiveness
worrying about where this state is going. Our state spends the least amount of money per person on public health; the next state up spends double what we spend! Every tiny bit of progress is really just undoing some recent heinous harm. The Medieval-level treatment of people here is beyond cruel.
worrying about the connections between tinnitus, cognitive function, and dementia. There are so many different ideas and studies going around. Is that why I’m inserting c’s where s’s should be and other weird things lately? I usually attribute it to not sleeping…
listening to cricket noises (that’s almost exactly what my tinnitus sounds like), marimbas, and the Now and Then soundtrack
