Also, did anyone pull off any stellar Apirl Fool’s Jokes? I tried convincing my husband that there was a raccoon in the kitchen while he was at work; it didn’t work, but I’ll get him next year! As for our daughter, we’re planning a surprise ice cream run after we put her to bed.

Gumby Got Me

gumbyWe went into a Johnny Brock’s Dungeon and apparently I was the only one in our little group to not notice a dude in a Gumby costume saunter over and stand still next to us, holding a scythe.

I told my daughter, “Look, it’s Gumby!” thinking it was a statue or something–until he started walking toward us! I jumped, the rest of my family laughed–and my daughter grabbed onto me, terrified of the big green glob.

Though Gumby later gave her a hug and smoothed it over (making her now a Gumby fan for life), I still feel like an idiot.

Happy Halloween!
